00 About

Design taught me structure. Pixel art taught me limits.

Informatics Engineering student at Politeknik Negeri Malang who has spent the last two years on two sides that rarely meet: designing interfaces in Figma, and drawing 2D game assets in Aseprite.

In UI/UX I learned that design decisions have to be explainable: the flow, the hierarchy, the reason behind the layout. In game art I learned the opposite: working inside limits, because a palette and a canvas size force every pixel to justify itself.

I still work on both, side by side.

I like work that needs a reason: why the button sits there, why that colour, why this sprite is eight frames and not twelve.

01 Interface

UI/UX Design

Three projects where I owned the flow and the interface: a language learning app, a lab CMS, and a printing information system. All in Figma.

01 Regional language learning app Apr — Jul 2025 UI/UX Designer

Lokalinggo

A regional language learning app built on Duolingo’s daily-lesson habit: one short lesson, repeated every day. I owned the navigation flow and every main screen, from onboarding to profile.

  • Mapped the user flow across onboarding, lessons, practice, community, and profile.
  • Designed the key screens: splash, onboarding, and a home screen with a culture map.
  • Kept visual consistency through a single terracotta palette, one card system, and a fixed type hierarchy.
  • Linked the screens into a clickable prototype to test the order of steps.

02 Laboratory CMS website Oct — Dec 2025 UI/UX Designer · team

CMS Laboratorium

The Software Engineering lab needed one place to manage its profile, activities, and research assets. I designed the information structure and the CMS interface, then handed it to the developers.

  • Mapped the lab content into a flat navigation hierarchy that scans quickly.
  • Laid out list pages, detail pages, and the content management forms.
  • Built reusable visual components so pages stay consistent.
  • Supported the developers while the design moved into the website.

03 Printing information system Feb — Jun 2026 UI/UX Designer · team

SI Harapan Jaya Printing

An information system for Harapan Jaya Printing, with one main problem: printing service details had to read clearly without making people ask twice.

  • Designed the interface around the readability of service information.
  • Structured pages and interface elements so printing data reads in order.
  • Adjusted the design to the system requirements together with the team.

Game &
pixel art

Three 2D games: I built one myself and made the visual assets for the other two. The first taught me logic, the rest taught me consistency.

Home Sweet Home

GB Studio · Game Boy ROM

My first game: one small house you can walk through, built inside 8-bit console limits. I handled movement mechanics, sprite integration, and how the rooms fit together.

  • Implemented character movement and room-to-room interaction with GB Studio events.
  • Integrated character sprites, tilesets, and props into each scene.
  • Kept the look consistent on the Game Boy’s limited palette.

Unity · GameSeed 2025 team

A GameSeed 2025 jam game about a barista opening a coffee shop in a fantasy world. I made the visual assets: characters, cups, and in-game interface pieces.

  • Drew the dwarf character sprite and a coffee cup set on a limited palette.
  • Designed icons and small panels for the game interface.
  • Delivered assets in the format the Unity team needed for integration.

Unity · KMIPN VII 2025 team

An educational game for KMIPN VII 2025 that asks players to look after nature through environmental puzzles. I owned the visual identity: logo, menu, and chapter cards.

  • Drew the pixel art logo and wordmark that became the game’s face.
  • Designed the buttons, main menu, and chapter story cards.
  • Made supporting character sprites consistent with the game’s style.

03 Archive

Visual archive

Work outside the two tracks: pixel art portraits, game assets that never became a project page, and graphic design for promotion.

04 Experience

Learning by
building with other people.

Roles at Workshop Riset Informatika taught me to write materials, teach, and see things through. The rest is freelance design work since 2020.

  1. Head of UI/UX Division

    Workshop Riset Informatika · Polinema

result Session attendance rose from 2–3 people to around 30.

    • Ran the UI/UX Division programme for the 2025/2026 period.
    • Wrote the syllabus and teaching materials for the UI/UX Design miniclass.
    • Mentored Project Based Learning for semesters 3–4, from interface design to prototype.
  2. Game Development Division Mentor

    • Prepared teaching materials for the Game Development miniclass.
    • Taught the basics of 2D pixel art game assets: objects and environment elements.
    • Supported the division’s programme through the period.
  3. UI/UX Beta Test Mentor

additional role Oct 2024 — present

    Workshop Riset Informatika · Polinema

    • Guided UI/UX Design miniclass participants through beta test sessions.

    • Developed visual concepts through typography, composition, colour, and illustration.
    • Adapted work for digital publishing and social media content.
05 Education

Formal education
and one certificate.

Informatics Engineering gave me the software engineering base; the interface design courses gave me the first place to practise designing.
